AI Character Turnarounds Without Drift

A character turnaround shows front, side, and back on one sheet — the reference every artist works from. AI can produce one in seconds if the tool locks proportions across views. Most do not. The proportion problem

Diffusion models will happily redesign your character between angles. Without conditioning, the side view has a different head size than the front. That is unusable.

The fix is a locked baseline — the character sits on the same horizon line across all three views, and reference conditioning holds the head, torso, and limb ratios steady. Both have to be enforced at generate time; neither can be fixed cleanly after the fact.

Prepping the sheet for rigging

Export as a single PNG plus a slice manifest that names each region (`front_head`, `side_torso`, `back_legs`). Riggers can wire the parts into a Skeleton2D or Unity 2D IK setup in one drag each.

For 2D IK, keep the joint anchors consistent across views — a wrist that is 12 px from the elbow in front view should be 12 px in three-quarter. DesiStudio enforces this in the export split.
